Transforming Love (Jim Palmer Quote)

An Expounding On Correction From The Father

Earlier this year, I released what The Father revealed to me as a prophet concerning a course correction coming to the Body of Christ (if you haven’t read it already, please go here). I want to restate this is specific to BELIEVERS and THE BODY OF CHRIST.

By the Spirit of God, I am feeling an attempt by the enemy to distort what the Father spoke regarding this matter. And so He wants to expound and bring clarity. Therefore, I prayerfully release this in His love and truth.

God is dealing with HIS PEOPLE. His eyes are on US. He sees WE need correcting in certain areas. And He is letting us know what is about to happen because He wants us to be ready for it.

Not every, single believer needs correcting. However, there are many who are out of order with the Lord, because He says so. And In His great love and compassion for us, He is bringing righteous correction.

For the past several years, and for some even longer, Holy Spirit has been in deep and purposeful pursuit of us to deal with those things in our lives that need attention - serious matters of the heart.

Some have allowed this deep work of the Holy Spirit to take place in their lives. Some have not. Nonetheless, the Father has made it very clear to me that each of us has been given equal time and opportunity to do what’s been needed. So none of us can say we didn’t know. He’s made Himself known to each of us concerning the things in our lives that are out of His order. Some believers have completely rejected it, and this has hurt the Body of Christ as a whole in many ways.

It breaks down like this - we are out of sync with Him and His order.

We are missing out because we’ve tried to do things our way instead of His way. And there are consequences to this. However, the good news is His correction holds the remedy for us.

I believe the church needs to be prepared most of all because there are many Christians living in ungodlinessWe quickly point our fingers at "the sinners" and say, oh look at them; look at what they’re doing! But the truth is, many believers have got more skeletons in their closets than the people they're condemning.

Have we forgotten that while we were still yet sinners, Christ died for us?

God never condemns; He convicts through the Holy Spirit. There is a difference.

Condemnation only reveals the problem. It tears people down and makes them feel as low as possible. It only sees the dirt. It accuses, finds fault, and places blame. Condemnation comes from Satan and is rooted in hate and fear.

Conviction reveals the truth of the problem but it also reveals the solution. It brings about godly sorrow that leads to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10). True repentance brings about a heart change and a different way of thinking and functioning. It points us to the hope and forgiveness of Christ - even for believers when we’ve messed up. True conviction comes from God and is rooted in love and joy.

Jesus did not come to condemn the world. He came to save it (John 3:17). There is no condemnation to those who are in Christ (Romans 8:1).

Satan, on the other hand, is well known for accusing the brethren (Rev 12:10). Too many believers have offered up their mouths for him to accuse other believers with. And that's another matter on The Father's heart.

God holds those of us who truly know Him and His ways more accountable. We, the Body of Christ, are the ones He’s correcting. He is correcting His church because many of us are out of order. And He corrects us BECAUSE we belong to Him.

Accountability is even higher for ministers or leaders in the Body of Christ - apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. High call, high responsibility (to God and His people).

I’ve written A LOT about exposure over the last few years. This has been of His choosing and not mine. Many exposures are happening this year because correction is needed. When we refuse to submit to His correction process, He will, at some point, deal with us. He is tremendously long-suffering and gracious, but His patience has a limit.

I know most people don’t want to hear this, but it is the truth that judgment begins in the house of God (1 Peter 4:17). And we have to understand there is a place for righteous judgment. We must also understand it in its proper context.

What kind of a Father would He be if He didn't discipline or correct His own children when we need it? How can He "judge" the world when His house is a mess? We cannot mistake or misunderstand this. Read Hebrews 12.

It hurts Him when we make choices that empower sin in our lives, especially willful sinning because He knows precisely how the devil works - give him an inch and he'll not only take a mile; he'll take it all.

Deception runs deep when we think we can keep on doing our sin thing in secret and maintain our authority in Christ at the same time. This is why the whole Body of Christ suffers; it affects our collective witness and authority. Some sin weighs us all down.

You cannot dance with the devil in the dark and then try to rebuke him in the light. You can’t swing with him on Saturday night and then act like you didn’t on Sunday morning. NO. WAY. It doesn't work like that. IT WILL BACKFIRE ON YOU BIG TIME.

This is what has happened with some of God’s people. When you do that and repeatedly refuse God's help to lead you out of it; you will get burned. Make no mistake about it, Satan has one agenda only - to kill, steal, and destroy.

We often have blind spots to the enemy and need the wisdom and the counsel of the Holy Spirit to help guide us. And He always desires to teach us and lead us into truth, and if need be, repentance.

But if we reject it, if we refuse or dismiss His counsel and His warnings, it will cost us. It doesn't happen overnight, but eventually, if we continue rejecting His pursuit of us, we'll move outside of God's covering. And there are serious consequences when that happens, which is why He goes to such great lengths with us in the first place.

The Father will intervene at some point and this will be much more difficult than had we submitted to Him early on. We have no one to blame but ourselves when we reject His loving and ongoing pursuit of us. He tries to stop us and enlighten us to the truth of what’s happening so it won’t progress into the danger zone, but the choice is still ours.

We can't play games with Him either and act like we didn't know when we really did. He knows this too. That’s why Galatians 6:7 says, “Do not be deceived (fooled, misled). God cannot be mocked. You will reap whatever you sow.” The Amplified Bible says we inevitably delude (dupe, fool, trick, hoodwink) ourselves if we attempt to delude God.

His love for us can never be questioned because He corrects us. 1 John 4:10 says it all: “This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.”

Be clear, love and tolerance are NOT the same things. The Father truly loves us, but there comes a time when He will no longer tolerate our wrong conduct and our rejection of His correction. He will not allow us to go on sinning or continually cover it up; especially when our actions are hurting the rest of His children and those who are truly innocent.

We must be willing to receive His correction in our lives when the Father sees we truly need it. He isn’t like people – He doesn’t overact or underact. He doesn’t look the other way or make mountains out of molehills. So when He says there's a problem, there is most surely a problem. And we can't go on denying or opposing it.

He is profoundly kind but He's certainly no pushover. He acts justly and righteously at all times. Therefore He will correct us, one way or another, for our own good. And it's because He loves us.

There are those times when God speaks very plainly; as in language we can all understand so as to make sure He clearly gets across what He’s communicating without any ambiguity or misunderstanding. This is that kind of word.

Many are familiar with the word THUNDERSTRUCK because of the song with the same title by the rock group AC/DC. And that alone will grab some people’s attention. Nevertheless, it is the meaning or definition of the word the Lord is conveying here.

The word THUNDERSTRUCK means to be extremely shocked or surprised; to be stunned, aghast, dumbfounded, or speechless; to be amazed, astonished, or floored; to be blown away.

I am hearing The Father say THUNDERSTRUCK is the word of the hour.

Now, this can be good or this can be bad. I believe it’s both.

There are going to be many good and extraordinary things the Father is doing in this time that will totally astound people. Answers to long-awaited prayers, His promises being fulfilled, and for many, a sudden turn-around of circumstances that have looked utterly lost, devastated, and hopeless. Also, many breakthroughs, discoveries, and miracles are going to take place.

While I certainly don’t know everything He will do, there are going to be some things so good, so wonderful, it will leave many of us THUNDERSTRUCK

The time frame He is showing me about this is over the next four years, beginning in late summer or fall (September-October) of this year. So late 2015-2019.

On the flip side of this is the-not-so-good. What exactly does this mean? It means many people and many situations are going to be exposed for who and what they really are. In other words, the truth is coming out.

It is correct that exposure is not always bad. Good things get exposed too, and that is also a part of this time of deep exposure. However, the Father is specifically focused on exposing the ugly truth - things hidden in darkness (covered-up) that will be brought into the light (uncovered). And yes, some of it is already happening, but there’s plenty more to come.

Many times, people refuse to see the truth for how it really is. And they also refuse His help to see it despite the long-suffering and lengthy pursuit of the Holy Spirit. Hence, the time comes when God has to give sight to or reveal what’s really going on. As in pull-the-curtain-back-open-the-closet-door-straight-up-truth. And it’s often shocking.

So He doesn’t just expose something for the sake of exposing it. He exposes and discloses the truth in order to bring needed change. Initially, this can look pretty ugly and messy, but He will ultimately use it to usher in and establish the vital change and transformation He desires and sees is necessary.

Over the last few years, which has been at His choosing and not mine, I’ve been writing and speaking out to help prepare people for this exposure (or try to help as much as possible). Regardless, there are going to be things exposed that will be so shocking; no amount of preparation could fully ready us.

Some of this will be so hard to believe, it just won’t seem possible that it could be true. BUT IT IS TRUE.  He is saying ahead of time; BELIEVE IT - IT IS TRUE.

He will also have confirmations in place to validate it (i.e. confessors, whistle-blowers, documentation).

Some of this will be so shocking, it will leave many THUNDERSTRUCK in light of what's being revealed. Some of it will be because of what He is exposing in the government of this nation – the USA (local, state, and federal). And some of it will be because of what He is exposing in His own house – the Church (particularly the leadership).

This is why He’s saying THUNDERSTRUCK is the word of the hour.

Many will be THUNDERSTRUCK by the good things happening. Many will be THUNDERSTRUCK by the bad things being exposed. And it is very likely many will be THUNDERSTRUCK by both the good and the bad, perhaps even simultaneously.

God always informs His people ahead of time, but we don’t always listen. And the truth is, He’s been doing this for quite a long time now.

Still, the Father doesn’t want us to be completely caught off guard. He cares - He cares about people; He cares about the innocent; He cares about injustice; He cares about truth. So know this is why He is doing what He is doing.
