About Me

I am a writer; a prophetic writer.

In addition to authoring this blog, I am a contributing writer for Identity Network, Love, Hope, & Prophetic EncouragementSpirit Fuel365Prophetic.com, and God's Heart Carriers. I've also had the tremendous honor of being one of twelve authors to contribute to the book, Spirit Fuel Volume 1: 43 Prophetic Writings of Hope & Healing. And I am deeply grateful to have my writings shared by these Spirit-led ministries, groups, and publications.

I like writing to encourage and speak faith, hope, love, truth, and grace into people's lives; it's a great blessing and honorI also like writing about relevant life issues that are important to the Father's heart. He often shares His burdens with us, and there are times He wants to voice them too. I'm always humbled and honored when He asks me to do so.

I understand the power of a genuinely encouraging word, especially from Holy Spirit. And I know the power of a real prophetic word from the Lord. Both can uplift us and breathe Kingdom life, truth, and grace into our spirits, souls, and bodies. Both can reveal His heart. And both are needed today.

I am also a photographer; more specifically, a prophetic photographer. This, like my writing, functions through the prophetic expression the Father has placed within me. I like to incorporate some of my photos, and other images, into my blogs to help give visual expression to the words. They help bring the message to life. And it's so true that a picture is often worth a thousand words. To view some of my photographs, please go here

And, I am a prophetic voice called by Jesus. I function as a seer, and this is the foundation for my writing and photography.

Prayer is certainly a big part of what I do. In fact, it is the greater work; as Oswald Chambers said, "Prayer does not fit us for the greater work; prayer is the greater work." Indeed, prophetic ministry is rooted in deep prayer and intercession.

I also wholeheartedly believe that character takes precedence over gifting. By character, I mean the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Otherwise, our gifting, however excellent or extraordinary it is, can eventually succumb to those false things that vie for our time, thoughts, and attention. We can be highly gifted but spiritually immature. We need to develop genuine Christ-like character as the foundation for which we stand to truly function and excel in our gifts.

I'm a serious lover of music, and music is always a part of what I do. It is truly a gift from God, and I appreciate it very much.

The people God has used and is still using to help me along the way have made such a difference in my life; I value them much. I would not be where I am otherwise. We all need each other to get where the Father wants us to be.

I'm still working to heal and recover from a long battle with chronic illness; it has been a difficult journey, unlike any other. And yet, the Lord has been working within it, and me, this whole time (I spent several years blogging about my health and Lyme disease; you can find it here). At the end of the day, however, I know there's a higher purpose in all of this - Kingdom purpose. And that's where I'm vested.

Many people are hurting and struggling for various reasons; many have been hit hard by life. And like we all do, they need to know someone truly cares. They need the hope and love of Jesus functioning in action through us.

I desire to be a vessel of His great love and hope.

I want to make a difference in the lives of others.

I want to be an agent of change for His Kingdom.

And I want to run my race well.

Care to join me?

~ Michelle

  4. Michelle, I thank God for using you in a powerful way. The prophetic word: Walking through the Fire of Change. I receive every word, I am going through a wilderness and God is preparing me for his purpose and plans. This is my victory and testimony! (Revelation 12:11). The message is Don't Worry in the Wilderness because it will cause you to Wonder. Thank you again, and God bless you....
