Snow Revelations Revisited

We had an unexpected snow here this morning. I'm talking huge, gigantic flakes falling from the sky, and in less than an hour; the yard, sidewalk, trees, and fields surrounding my house were covered. As you can see from the photos, it stuck to everything (except the road), and was absolutely beautiful! Our local weather forecast was for rain, which had been falling throughout the night, to change over to snow by late afternoon. But God threw in an unexpected bonus. And it was a reminder of what He spoke to me in January 2015. In fact, this snow was exactly like the snow we had then. I blogged about it last year in two parts - Snow Revelations: Part 1 and Snow Revelations: Part 2 (The Bride)

The sun is now shining intermittently, and while this morning's snow has already melted, sleet pellets are falling like rain at times. Very unusual. But then again, what God is doing is highly unusual. Interestingly, we are expecting snow squalls later this evening and over the course of the next few days. I feel in my spirit that something new has started and believe this is God driving the point home. Another prophetic signpost, if you will, declaring that He's not forgotten - His word and His promises will come to pass.

I pray this can be an encouragement to those of you who are still waiting on The Lord to fulfill His word in your life. It's helped to encourage me. And, if you haven't already, please read Snow Revelations Part 1 and 2 to gain a better understanding of what this means.

Blessings.

As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is My word that goes out from My mouth: It will not return to Me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
Isaiah 55:10-11 NIV
